Achlachan Wind Farm Community Fund

  • Area: Highland
  • Grant size: Up to £10,000
The fund supports community activity and development in the Halkirk & District Community Council area, with priority given to projects within a four-kilometre radius of the Achlachan Wind Farm.

An Suidhe Wind Farm Community Fund

  • Area: Argyll and Bute
  • Grant size: Up to £9,000
An Suidhe Wind Farm Community Fund supports community projects benefitting those living in the areas covered by the Community Councils of: Glenorchy and Innishail (Eredine only); Inveraray; Furnace, and by Dalavich Improvement Group.

Annandale and Nithsdale Community Benefit Company

  • Area: Dumfries and Galloway
  • Grant size: Up to £20,000
This fund is provided by ScottishPower Renewables community benefit fund for Harestanes Windfarm in Dumfries and Galloway.  It primarily supports community projects within the community council areas in Annandale and Nithsdale.

Baillie Gifford International Fund

  • Area: International
  • Grant size: Up to £5,000

NOTE: This fund is for registered charities working outside of the UK

This fund is aimed at supporting registered charities who are working in International Aid Development to deliver their work. Grants of up to £5,000 are available for projects addressing the climate emergency outside of the UK. 

Bairdwatson Charitable Trust

  • Area: All of Scotland
  • Grant size: Up to £20,000
Employment and skills training for young people who are unemployed, and in re-training and support for unemployed people to get them back into work.

Ballantrae Community Fund

  • Area: South Ayrshire
  • Grant size: Up to £25,000
Ballantrae Community Fund is funded by ScottishPower Renewables community benefit fund, from its Glen App Windfarm in South Ayrshire. The fund supports projects located within or directly benefiting Ballantrae, South Ayrshire.

Ballantrae Education and Training Fund

  • Area: South Ayrshire
  • Grant size: Up to £2,250
The purpose of the Ballantrae Education and Training Fund is to improve the opportunities and livelihoods of people living in the area. The fund provides bursaries to residents of Ballantrae Community Council areas to help them access training and education opportunities, that better equip them with the range of skills needed to enter or retain employment.

Barr Community Fund

  • Area: South Ayrshire
  • Grant size: Up to £25,000
The Barr Community Fund is funded by SSE community benefit funding from the Hadyard Hill wind farm in South Ayrshire and Nadara from its Assel Valley wind farm also in South Ayrshire. The fund supports projects located within or directly benefiting the community area of Barr.

Barr Education and Training Fund

  • Area: South Ayrshire
  • Grant size: Up to £3,000
The purpose of the Barr Education & Training Fund is to improve the opportunities and livelihoods of people living in Barr.

Barrhill Community Fund

  • Area: South Ayrshire
  • Grant size: No fixed amount
The Fund is provided by Barrhill Community Interest Company using funds from the Kilgallioch Community Benefit Company and ScottishPower Renewables Mark Hill wind farm.

Barrhill Education & Training Fund

  • Area: South Ayrshire
  • Max grant size: Up to £3,000
This fund provides bursaries to residents of working age in the Barrhill Community Council area.

Beinneun Student Scholarship Fund

  • Area: Highland
  • Grant size: Up to £750
The Beinneun Student Scholarship Fund provides bursaries for individuals living in Fort Augustus, Glenmoriston and Glengarry seeking to improve their employability prospects or develop a new career. It is provided from the Beinneun Community Benefit Fund which supports voluntary organisations, charities, householders, students and social enterprises across these three communities.
