EDF Power Solutions Dorenell Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund
The EDF Power Solutions Dorenell Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund is provided by EDF Power Solutions, the majority owner of Dorenell Windfarm Limited. The Fund supports charitable activities that benefit of residents living in the areas served by the following community associations: Cabrach Community Association, Dufftown and District Community Association, Glenlivet & Inveravon Community Association and Glenrinnes Community Centre.
EDF Power Solutions Longpark Wind Farm Community Fund
The EDF Power Solutions Longpark Wind Farm Community Fund supports community projects benefiting those living in the Parish of Stow Community Council area in the Scottish Borders. It is provided by EDF Power Solutions, which owns and operate the Longpark Wind Farm.
Glenkens & District Community Fund
The fund support projects located within or directly benefiting the following areas: Balmaclellan, Balmaghie, Carsphairn, Corsock & Kirkpatrick Durham, Crossmichael & District, Dalry, Dunscore, Glencairn, The Royal Burgh of New Galloway and Kells Parish and Parton.
Glenkens & District Education and Training Fund
This fund provides bursaries to residents of the Balmaclellan, Balmaghie, Carsphairn, Corsock & Kirkpatrick Durham, Crossmichael & District, Dalry, Dunscore, Glencairn, The Royal Burgh of New Galloway and Kells Parish and Parton Community Council areas.
Great Glen Energy Co-operative Fund
The Great Glen Energy Co-operative purchased a stake in the Millennium wind farm in 2008. The wind farm is owned and managed by Millennium Wind Energy Ltd and is located in the hills north of Invergarry. There are currently 26 X 2.5 Mw Nordex turbines on the site. In full operation they produce enough clean green energy to supply around 36,000 average homes.
Greengairs East Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund
The Greengairs East Farm Community Benefit supports the communities of Greengairs, Upperton, Longriggend, Caldercruix and Plains. Each community receives an equal share of the annual payment and which totals an index linked annual sum of £180,000.
Hadyard Hill Community Fund (Pinwherry & Pinmore)
Hadyard Hill Pinwherry and Pinmore Community Fund is funded by SSE community benefit funding from the Hadyard Hill wind farm in South Ayrshire. The fund supports projects located within or directly benefiting the community area of Pinwherry and Pinmore.
Hadyard Hill Education and Training Fund (Dailly)
The purpose of the Hadyard Hill Education & Training Fund (Dailly) is to improve the opportunities and livelihoods of people living in the area. The fund provides bursaries to residents of Dailly Community Council areas to help them access training and education opportunities, that better equip them with the range of skills needed to enter or retain employment.
