About this fund
The Patna Community Fund distributed funds provided by Greencoat from the South Kyle Wind Farm.
Main grants from the fund can support projects located within or directly benefiting people in the Patna Community Council area.
Groups can apply for grants of between £500 and £10,000.
The fund has no deadlines, groups can apply at any time.
A separate fund has been established to support individuals in Patna to access training and education opportunities information on which can be found on the Patna Education and Training Fund web page.

Purpose of this fund
Patna Community Fund will support community-led charitable activities that support the regeneration and sustainability of Patna.
Awards can support a wide range of costs and activities including equipment costs, running costs for local groups, staff or sessional worker costs, consultations, maintenance or refurbishment of community facilities etc.
This list is not exhaustive – if you are not sure about whether your cost is eligible for support, please contact Foundation Scotland for advice. The Fund’s standard exclusion criteria apply (see below).
Who can apply?
Groups and organisations working to benefit people in Patna can apply.
Your group/organisation must meet our standard eligibility criteria.
You don’t need to be a registered charity to apply.
If your group does not meet the eligibility criteria, but your project could provide benefit in Patna, please contact Foundation Scotland to discuss this.
Applications from groups/organisations located outwith the fund area will be considered on a case-by-case basis and must demonstrate a clear benefit for residents within the fund area.

How are decisions made?
Decisions on grant awards are made by a community panel made up of people who live in Patna.
