About this fund
The George and Grace Thomson Trust is keen to support projects benefitting people in Dundee, particularly those which address poverty and social exclusion.
The family fund was set up in memory of George Thomson, who was MP for Dundee East in the 1950s and 60s, and his wife Grace Thomson. The fund is closing down and so applications are no longer being accepted.
Purpose of this fund
Applications are particularly welcome which address the following issues:
• social exclusion
• alleviation of poverty and disadvantage
• empowerment (especially of women)
• asylum seekers
• prevention of teenage homelessness

All applicants must meet Foundation Scotland's Common eligibility criteria, please check this list before starting your application.
