ORIT Cumberhead Community Fund - last funding opportunity for 2024

The last application deadline of 2024 is Sunday 8th September for the ORIT Cumberhead Community Fund.

Foundation Scotland has recently taken over the running of the ORIT Cumberhead Community Fund.  Any community groups, charities or social enterprises delivering projects that benefit residents living in the community council areas of Coalburn and Lesmahagow are eligible to apply to the Fund.  

Grants may support a wide range of costs, for example, the costs of equipment, staff or sessional workers, consultations, running costs for local groups, or maintenance or refurbishment of community facilities.

The final deadline for applications this year is Sunday 8th September 2024, and decisions will be made mid-November.  A Panel of local residents from both communities will review all eligible applications and make awards.  The Fund commonly experiences high levels of competition for funding, and all applications are assessed on their merits.
