Galawhistle Panel Recruitment
Do you take an interest in local community issues and activities? Are you keen to see funding make a real difference for the communities of Douglas, Glespin and Coalburn?
The Ventient Energy Galawhistle Wind Farm Community Fund Panel was established to set priorities for use of the Ventient Energy Galawhistle Wind Farm Community Fund and to advise on the distribution of grant awards to community groups and charities. There are currently two vacancies on the Panel, and we are asking people to put themselves forward for these.
The Panel is supported by Foundation Scotland, an independent grant-making charity that administers the Galawhistle Funds on behalf of the local community. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Panel, please read the Role Profile and complete the Nomination Form (see below). For further information, a chat about the role or for a copy of this form in large print, braille, or another language, please contact Catherine Francis, contact details below.
You must be aged 16 or over and live within the Douglas or Coalburn Community Council boundaries.
Please complete the online form by Monday 1st March 2021.
If more nominations are received than there are spaces available, Panel members will be selected through a process to be decided by Foundation Scotland and the current Panel members.
