Foundation Scotland Annual Gathering
"All communities are going to be impacted by climate change in some way. What legacy can we leave for our children?"
November 3rd marked a milestone for Foundation Scotland with our first Annual Gathering in several years.
Alongside some exceptional guest panellists, we explored, through the lens of funding, climate action, investing for impact and ‘funding differently’.
The event provided an opportunity for guests to reconnect with Foundation Scotland staff and Trustees, other donors, funders and partners from across Scotland. During the afternoon, we heard from some of the organisations our donors have supported, as well as donors themselves, and we looked at some new funds and initiatives driving positive change in Scotland’s communities and the funding world. Our Chief Executive Giles Ruck also shared some of our plans for the year ahead.
A huge thank you to all who came along to share their expertise and passion. A special thanks to panellists from Agile City, 2050 Climate Group, Vattenfall UK, EQ Investors, the Grassmarket Community Project, Glenkens & District Trust, the Scottish Refugee Council, and to James Hilder and Tom Ward.
