EGL Community Benefit Fund Scotland webinar

Following the launch of the new EGL1 Community Benefit Fund Scotland fund, Foundation Scotland will be hosting a webinar for potential applicants interested in learning more about the fund.

Around £800,000 will be made available through this fund, with £720,000 available in this round. A further round of funding is planned to open in late January 2027. 

This webinar is for potential applicants, offering more information about this new community benefit fund and the application process - both for Grassroots Grants (administered by LocalGiving) of £1,000 to £20,000 and Local Grants (administered by Foundation Scotland) for awards of £20,000 - £500,000.

We are encouraging organisations and interested parties with projects that will bring benefit to the communities of West Barns, Dunbar, East Lammermuir or Cockburnspath & Cove to come along and learn more about the Fund. 

The fund will focus on supporting local communities to deliver social, environmental and economic benefits by funding projects aligned with the following themes:

•    Financial resilience and educational inclusion
•    Employability support and skills development
•    Social and digital inclusion, health and wellbeing, and active lifestyles
•    Community facilities, spaces and buildings
•    Green spaces and access to the natural environment
•    Sustainable and inclusive transport
