Community wealth building in practice
The EDF Renewables Burnfoot Hill Wind Farm Community Fund serves the communities of Menstrie, Alva, Tillicoultry and Coalsnaughton and Devonside and Dollar and is now in its tenth year. Within this time, the fund has helped forge strong links between the different communities and helped build and unlock a wealth of community ambition and capacity.
In recognition of the wide-reaching impact this fund has made on the Hillfoot communities, Local Energy Scotland has just published a detailed case study.
