Blackridge Community Fund Panel seeks new member
Blackridge Community Fund Panel is looking for a Blackridge resident to join the Panel and influence how community benefit funds are used in the area.
The Blackridge Community Fund awards more than £50,000 each year to community groups and local charities benefiting the Blackridge community. Would you like to influence what it is spent on and the difference it makes?
With some long-standing members of the community already involved, the Panel would love to have more young adults involved to give a fresh perspective. Maybe you’re a local parent, auntie or uncle who’s keen to see the Fund help all of Blackridge’s children? Or maybe you’d like to help make Blackridge even better for young people and families? With only 3-4 meetings a year in the evenings and occasional emails, a small contribution of your time can make a really big difference in Blackridge community life.
By joining the Panel, you can help make sure that every penny of community benefit funding coming to Blackridge from local wind farms makes as much difference as possible in the community. You’ll volunteer alongside some other fantastic residents, learn more about the incredible community groups and charities active in Blackridge, and grow your skills and knowledge in a range of ways without even realising it!
It only takes a few minutes to put your name forward – please fill in this brief form.
